Welcome! I am a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Politics and International Relations at Lake Forest College. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Michigan State University in May 2025.

My research examines democratic backsliding, gender and politics, and their intersection. I have a regional focus on Latin America.

My research has been supported by the MSU Center for Gender in Global Context, and I received the 2025 Empirical Study of Gender Research Network Prize. My work has been published or is forthcoming at Edward Elgar Publishing and Legislative Studies Quarterly.
